Bio:
Mr. Chiu, Managing Director, is a member of the Asian Credit and
Rates Market,
overlooking the liability management business for corporate
clients in China
and Hong Kong, and is also the Co-Head of Sales overlooking the
foreign
exchange, fixed income and derivatives businesses in China. Since Mr.
Chiu
joined JP Morgan in 1995, he has been involved in marketing fixed income
and
foreign exchange financial products to a wide range of corporate and
institutional clients within the region and has lived in both Hong Kong and
Singapore. Mr. Chiu has been the China Treasurer (internal reporting purpose
only) for the past 3 years and contributed to the set-up of the firmˇ¦s
dealing
room in Shanghai, and building JP Morganˇ¦s treasury product
capabilities in
China. Mr. Chiu is familiar with the Chinese Renminbi foreign
exchange and fixed
income market.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Chiu graduated from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, and prior to that, Cambridge University with a Masterˇ¦s degree in
Operations Research and a Bachelorˇ¦s degree in Mathematics respectively.
