Online registration via this website will be from 16th Sept, 2019 to 25th Oct, 2021 HKT. Thereafter you may only register onsite at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the above onsite fees will apply.

Visa requirements are different according to each country. Visitors to Hong Kong must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months before the planned departure date to Hong Kong. Visitors from most countries are not required to obtain visas and can stay for periods varying from 7 days to 180 days, depending on nationality.
Please check the web site of the Hong Kong Immigration Department (link to here) and the Chinese embassy or consulate to find out whether you need to apply for an entry visa to Hong Kong.
If you need a Letter of Invitation to apply for a visa to attend the conference, please send the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Your name as it appears in your passport
- Your position
- Your affiliation/organization
- Your email address (as used in your conference registration)
- Title of your paper/abstract (optional)
The letter will be sent to you by email in PDF format within 7 working days after receiving the request with sufficient information. If the printed copy is required, please specify your address to receive the letter. Please note that Letter of Invitation will only be sent to participants who have registered and paid for the Conference. Should participants withdraw from the conference after the issue of Letter of Invitation, the consulate will be notified of the withdrawal accordingly.
Terms and Conditions
Delegates availing of the BFS membership discount must select the appropriate box in the form on the next page. Membership status will be checked. If you are not a member your registration fee will be canceled.
Delegates availing of the student registration type must provide your student ID and the email address of your supervisor for verification. Any failure to do so may result in cancellation of your registration.
Cancellation policy :Cancellation requests must be received by email to email@example.com and the following rates apply:
- On or before 16th Aug, 2021 - 30% cancellation charge
- From 16th Aug, 2021 to 25th Sept, 2021 inclusive - 50% cancellation charge
- From 25th Sept, 2021 to 25th Oct, 2021 inclusive - 70% cancellation charge
- After 25th Oct, 2021 - 100% cancellation charge
