In this talk, TEI@I methodology is discussed and some applications are
introduced, including forecasting of foreign exchange rates, forecasting of
China's import and export, and forecasting of crude oil price.

Shouyang Wang, a chair professor of management science and a vice president of
Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He
is also the director of Key Lab of Management, Decision and Information
Systems of Chinese Academy of Sciences and associate dean of GS School of
Management of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

His current research interest includes Financial Engineering and Risk
Management, Forecasting and Economic Analysis, Logistics. He has published
over 100 journal articles in leading journals including Journal of
Optimization Theory and Applications, Decision Support Systems, IEEE
Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Engineering
Management, IIE Transactions, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Group Decision
and Negotiations, Numerische Mathematik, and Mathematics of Operations

He is on the editorial boards of 12 journals, including Journal of Management
Systems, International Journal of Information Technology and Decision Making,
Journal of Systems Science and Complexity, and Information and Management. He
also served as the guest editor of an issue/volume of several journals
including Annals of Operations research, IIE Transactions, and European
Journal of Operational Research.
