Selling a stock is an important part of investment in equity markets. Here we
present several selling rules based on sound mathematical analysis together
with real data examples. The goal is to maximize the overall investment return
by selling the stock at the "right time" either to realize a profit (or to cut
loss short). The underlying model is a set of geometric Brownian motions with
regime switching.

Qing Zhang is a professor in Department of Mathematics, University of Georgia.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in 1988.
His current research interests include Stochastic control, two time scale
Markovian systems, and mathematical finance. Professor Zhang has been the
Associate Editor of both IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (1999-2001)
and SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization. He is also author of 4 books.
