2013-10-03: The final exam is scheduled at Dec 04th.
2013-10-09: We uploaded a guide for how to install and manage MySQL.
2013-10-19: We uploaded several introduction materials on the Lab page.
2013-10-23: A tutorial session is scheduled in 30 Oct, 5pm-6pm in ERB612(FE Lab). It will mainly cover two topics: the problems in the assignment 1; the installation and configuration of MySQL.
2013-10-25: As requested by some students, we plan to hold an additional tutorial on next Wednesday, 9:45-10:45pm, FE Lab (ERB612) after the class lecture. Exact same content of the 5-6pm tutorial in the same day will be repeated for the students who cannot attend the 5-6pm one.
2013-11-06: In assignment 2, page 2, the first paragraph, "shows that B’s value must appear in A" should be "shows that A’s value must appear in B"
2013-11-10: A sample solutio of problem 4 in assignment 1 has been uploaded in the assignment page.
2013-11-27: As requested by some of us and after the consideration of your heavy workload during the semester end period, we decided to extend the assignment 3's deadline to 11PM, 1st Dec (Sunday). The assignment box keeps unchanged. If you are unavailable to submit your hard copy, you can submit it to eLearning. After you select the course, you will find the 'Course Content' in left column. Click it then click the Assignment 3. Please do not submit both hard and soft copies unless necessary.
Please also note we will publish an reference answer of the assignment 3 immediately after the deadline. Therefore NO late submission will be accepted.
