Kaspersky Internet Security 10 suddenly blocking Windows Update

One of my Windows 7 VM experiences Windows Update Error with Error Code 80072F78, but the updates works fine after stopping Kaspersky Internet Security 10.

On a closer look, the windows update will also be fine after disabling “Web Control” inside Kaspersky.

But since it’s undesirable to disable Web Control to let Windows Update works, so I tried adding the exclusion rules on microsoft sites for web control, but still no luck. Finally, I uninstall the existing Kaspersky Internet Security 10.1.0.867 but saving all operational and license data, and install the new version of Kaspersky Internet Security 10.2.1.23. Now it works.
